Part-Time job opportunities for 2nd Yr B.Com Students
The Fixed Income, Money Market, and Derivatives Association of India (FIMMDA) is an association
of commercial banks, primary dealers, and insurance companies. FIMMDA is a no-profit no-loss
company established under Section 25 of the Companies Act.

We are looking for 2nd Year B.Com students as part-time employees to work as Management Trainees
with us . The persons we are interested in should have the following academic back-ground :
i) Good written and spoken command of English . This should be evidenced by at least 60 %
score in their School Final .
ii) A basic knowledge of Accountancy, evidenced by at least 60 % in their First Year B.Com
exams. Working knowledge of Tally 9 would be preferable, but not essential.
iii) A knowledge of handling a computer , with MS-Word, Excel .
FIMMDA will conduct a written test to judge their command of English by giving them an Essay on a
current topic of general interest. The candidates General Knowledge of the current affairs and matters
relating to finance would also be tested .
Based on the successful passing of the written test, we will short-list 5 candidates and subject them to
an interview by two members of FIMMDA Board. We propose to finally take two Management
Trainees for part-time work.
The Management Trainees would be required to work from Mondays to Fridays from 2.30 pm to 7.30
pm, at a monthly stripend of Rs 6500/= per month in the first year of service. This will be enhanced to
Rs 7500/- per month for the second year of service. On any day that the student takes leave (for any
reason whatsoever) no stripend would be payable . Since the students would be finishing their B.Com
course by the time two years of part-time service are over, FIMMDA will re-negotiate their terms if
they are interested to continue working with us thereafter.
