Job Description for the new joinee

To contribute to the entire spectrum of marketing activities for the business:-

Online Marketing
Assist in refreshing content regularly and in updating the website
Contribute to creating and managing microsites for strategic partners
Co-ordinate with online agencies and internal IT teams to ensure smooth functioning of the website and any other online projects
Work towards developing and managing the social media initiatives of the Business

Media Relations
Contribute messaging ideas in line with business needs
Coordinating with the UK PR agency, communicating messaging ideas and ensuring consistent media coverage
Provide content in the form of article writing, developing story ideas
Develop new and build on existing media relations in USA, Dubai and Far East
Assist in widening network of online media presence
Regular reporting to the group marketing team
Maintaining and growing media database across geographies

Product and Marketing communication
Ensure monthly updation of collaterals including fact sheets, presentations, web databases
Work with a cross functional team on large sales pitches for pitch communication

Internal communication
Ensure updation of intranet
Designing and executing various internal communication materials

Skills required
Good communication and people skills
Good writing skills
A willingness to learn, demonstrable desire to work hard and accept new challenges, strong work ethic, effective people skills and the ability to work in a diverse team

Niveshak Financial Adivosry Programme (N-FAP)

Background
Today the Indian Capital market requires the inclusion of a wide base of retail investors to counter the volatility caused by the inflow & outflow of foreign money on which we have excessive dependence. Indian middle class savers largely share the capital market (only amount 2% of the salary savers participate). Only through a process of personalized education can they be attracted to join the capital market via Mutual Funds etc. To ensure the delivery of “Investor.Education@home” and facilitate investments, NML proposes to achieve this goal through this unique Internship Program.

Unique Characteristics of N-fap

The practical training is based on the application or use of the acquired knowledge in Financial Planning. The unique feature of the program is that the students will be acquiring practical experience.

The unique characteristics of NIP program are stated as under:

Regular Mentoring: Experts (to be designated as ‘Mentor’ and could be derived from IDBI Intech) in the field of the financial and capital market will be hand-holding the Students in identifying potential clients and meeting them and taking them through the Education program.

Learning & Skill Acquisition through Field Work: Students will have to deliver an elementary financial literacy workshop to the potential clients at their respective homes (financial_literacy@home). The students will get a clear idea about the basics of Financial Planning & Advisory. Students will also assist the clients in completing the basic requirements to invest in certain financial instruments (like PAN and KYC) and obtain the code number.

Training to be a true Financial Advisor: Another unique feature of the Program is that the students will not be responsible for any direct sales to the clients. They would be truly acting as Advisor to their clients. In case the investor wants to invest, Mentor will help in enabling the Investor to select right product and close the transaction so that the Investor gets 360 degree service.

Collection of important data on potential clients
After meeting the respective client, the student will fill a standard Questionnaire Form to collect details of the client and also his/her investment behavior. This questionnaire will help in unraveling the investment behavior of the client and will help in profiling him/her. This can be used to sale various financial products to the clients.



Program Structure & Contents
Duration of the Program: 8 Weeks (3 days for class room training and rest for Practical/ Field Training)

Module I : Mutual Fund and AMFI Certification
Module II: Life Insurance
Module III: General Insurance
Module IV: Income Tax Advisory
Module V: Investor Education (Niveshak Investor Program)

What will a Student get on Completion of the Program
After a student successfully completes the program, they will get the following:
Internship Certificate reflecting scores achieved in the Investor Education program (this would be co-branded with IDBI AMC)
AMFI License (if student is willing)
